Heather Parish is a Minnesota native, and an active board member of Minnesota Hunter Jumper Association. She is dedicated to encouraging interest and expanding and enhancing the talent of horses and riders in the State of Minnesota.
Heather began showing at age 8 in the short stirrup division and has successfully shown in the hunter/jumper and equitation rings for over 25 years. As a junior and amateur rider, she earned numerous state and zone year-end championships, and in 1994 was the individual Gold Medalist in Show Jumping at the Olympic Festival.
A graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York, Heather received her degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology. She began her professional career in Ojai, California where she taught fourth grade at Ojai Valley School while also running a successful hunter/jumper business. With a strong background in education complimented by a successful show career and passion for horses, Heather brings excellent training and preparation to horses and riders at all levels of competition.
